| Institute of Public Relations recognises professional achievements
(London, England, December 2nd, 2004) - Elizabeth Tee, Managing Director at Troncossi Public Relations, received her 'IPR Accredited Practitioner' status from the Institute of Public Relations. 'IPR Accredited Practitioner' is awarded to participants who have logged three years in Developing Excellence, the IPR's continuous professional development (CPD) scheme. It is the only CPD scheme specifically designed for those working in public relations and communications management. Elizabeth Tee, upon receiving her award, said: “The CPD process has enabled me to keep up-to-date with the ever changing world of public relations, and achieving Accredited Practitioner status recognises my commitment to the industry.” IPR President Anne Gregory FIPR said: “Public relations is a dynamic, fast moving industry. We operate in a global society with an increasingly demanding and rapidly changing business environment. We communicate with and need to engage many different audiences, from the news media to local communities. “Practitioners must keep abreast of developments by constantly updating their knowledge and skills. The IPR's CPD scheme provides busy practitioners with the opportunity to do this.” Anne Gregory continued: “Elizabeth Tee is, by achieving Accredited Practitioner status, demonstrating her commitment to lifelong learning and raising professional standards. Ms. Tee's dedication to the development of public relations practice makes her a worthy recipient of this award.” Developing Excellence is open to the following grades of membership of the IPR: Fellows, Members and Associate Members.
